Hreflang Generator.
Create reciprocal language and regional annotations from a simple list of locale and URL pairs. The generator flags duplicate or unusual locale values without pretending to verify live pages.

01 / use the tool
How to use Hreflang
- Enter one locale and absolute URL per line.
- Add an x-default URL if the site has a suitable fallback.
- Copy the HTML or sitemap output and add reciprocal annotations to every equivalent page.
02 / interpret the output
What the result means
The output expresses the relationships you supplied. It does not confirm that pages return 200, are indexable or link back consistently.
Important considerations
- Locale syntax and URL ownership still need human review.
- Every equivalent page should reference the set consistently.
- Hreflang is not a substitute for translated, useful content or correct canonicals.
Worked example
Use `en-GB`, `en-US` and `x-default` only when those variants really exist and are meaningfully different.
