What the result means
CTR is clicks divided by impressions. When an expected CTR is supplied, estimated clicks are impressions multiplied by that rate.
Important considerations
- CTR is context-dependent and does not measure conversion quality by itself.
- Make sure clicks and impressions use the same source, period and definition.
- Search snippets may change even when a page title is unchanged.
Worked example
350 clicks from 10,000 impressions produces a 3.5% CTR.
